Iredell Council On Aging

 The Iredell Council on Aging (COA) was organized in April 1973. The agency is a non-profit organization that focuses on serving older adults age 60 and over.  The COA offices are located within the Iredell Senior Center facility on East Front Street in Statesville. The Iredell Council on Aging is devoted to improving the quality of life and maintaining independent living for Iredell's older adults age 60 or better.  There is no set fee for services, but clients are asked to make a contribution to a cost-sharing program based on their income.  Also, the Iredell Senior Center in Statesville and South Iredell Senior Center in Mooresville offer a wide range of health, education, recreation, and social activities for older adults.
